TEMPERING FURNACES

DESCRIPTION

Tempering is a form of heat treatment of a material that is performed to obtain specific properties. Our tempering furnaces can be controlled accurately according to the material by means of individually controlled heating, holding and cooling temperature curves.

In the example, there is a uniform temperature increase of foamed seals (white goods industry). After the temperature has been briefly held constant, cooling is again carried out slowly and evenly. In the example shown, the transfer system in the tempering furnace is designed as a paternoster. For visual checks, the service flaps are equipped with double-glazed safety panes.

Vulkan tempering furnaces in all temperature categories are fully tailored to customer requirements. Your ideas and requirements, combined with our long-standing experience, enable us to manufacture products which are of the highest quality in terms of their function, as well as temperature distribution and temperature accuracy. The tempering furnaces can be manufactured to be integrated dimensionally into a niche, as a stand-alone device or into a process. Chemically and weather-resistant designs made from high-quality chrome-nickel steel plate (V2A / V4A) or also in a painted steel sheet version with the colour of your choice are manufactured according to your deadlines.
