RIBBON/FLAT RADIATORS

DESCRIPTION

Ribbon and flat radiators are used for the heating of machines used in the plastics processing industry, as well as in tool and mould construction. Vulkan AG produces cylindrical, flat, frame, shaped and circular radiators. In accordance with the requirements in terms of the temperature and surface load (W/cm2), the heating elements are produced with micanite or ceramic as the base material. Micanite radiators are available according to customer requirements in a flat and cylindrical design with a heating section and tension belt, as well as insulation, hinges, etc. These can also be manufactured without a sheet metal jacket. For the installation of the temperature sensor, the radiators can be provided with drill holes and recesses, as well as brackets or sockets.

  • Maximum operating temperature: max. 350°C
  • With terminal box, plug or fixed cable connection

In the case of ceramic radiators, the heat is transferred not only by conduction, but also by radiation. Countersunk holes, grooves or drill holes can be bridged without problems, as the radiator radiates into the recesses. Holes, cut-outs and fittings can be designed according to specifications. We look forward to receiving your telephone call for technical advice.
